Our Story

We have met countless people in our city who have struggled to find employment for a variety of reasons. Many of them at no fault of their own. This is when we decided we needed to do something to help.

Since 2022, at our Slacks Creek facility, we have helped over 100 people achieve recognised qualifications and apply for long-term employment opportunities.
It makes us so happy to help a community of people who are now able to enter, or renter, the workforce with confidence.

We like to make things as simple as possible. So here are some answers to questions you might have about our Food Outlet.

When Can I Apply?
Intakes are typically in January and June. However due to a range of factors, these could shidft slightly. Please send us an enquiry here and we will contact you for the next intake.

Am I Eligible?
To be eligible for the Skilling Queenslanders For Work Traineeships, you must be:
- Unemployed for over 6 months
- An Australian Citizen
- Not At School

What Do I Get?
On completion, you will receive a Certificate I in your chosen field.
How Long Is The Course?
The courses go for 22 Weeks. Where you may have days or weeks off, this may extend the length of the course.
